This class is intended for adults of any skills level who want to create and develop their talent.
This course is a comprehensive overview of materials, approaches, techniques and elements of acrylic or oil painting. It explores a spectrum of painting techniques: traditional blending, wet on wet, wet on dry, glazes, impasto, palette knife, and varnishes. Intense hands on practice develops students' understanding of visual concepts, such as light and shadow patterns, volume, colour mixing and composition. You will be encouraged to pursue personal imagery and painting techniques.
